Why can't I register my domain name?
If you haven't done so already, please make
sure the domain name is available. Please go to...
betterwhois.com
http://www.betterwhois.com/
Please be sure that your Order Number is correct. Check to
see that there is no extra spaces preceding or following the
order number entry.
SBI! will register the more popular/standard domain name
extensions -- ie., .com., org. or .net.
Please try again by following these steps...
1) Open Manager > Add Domain > enter order number >
Add Domain Now > select 'new' and okay to proceed.
2) If you cannot access the 'Set Me Up' URL using the
Manager, access the 'register now' link that was provided inyour SBI! order confirmation e-mail ("Get Ready for Site
Build It!" was the subject of that e-mail.)
3) If you fail at any point in the above instructions,
please e-mail support@sitesell.com and explain exactly where you fail, what you were doing at that moment, and exactly what error message you receive. Be sure to include your order number and the domain name you are trying to register.

Can I transfer a domain that I already own?
To use SBI!, your domain MUST be hosted with SBI!. If you
are sure you want to use a previously registered domain name to build a site with SBI!, it will need to be transferred.
Please refer to the original order confirmation e-mail you received that has the subject line, "Get Ready for Site Build It!" and read specifically the section on Ken's warnings not to transfer...
"P.P.S. DO YOU WANT TO *TRANSFER* A DOMAIN THAT YOU ALREADY
OWN?"
If you're still certain that this is what you want to do
(use a domain for your SBI! site that was registered
elsewhere) then do as Ken states in the following section of
the e-mail... "P.P.P.S. If, for some reason, you want to get
off the yellow brick road and register a NEW domain name
right NOW, without doing Action Guide's first 5 DAYS..."
Failure to transfer the domain as indicated will result in
the inability to build the site in SBI!.
The problems with transfers include but are not limited to
the following three issues...
1) the domain is not in good standing with the current Web
host company and/or Registrar (i.e., past due on payment,
etc.)
2) the e-mail address used to register the domain originally
is no longer active. (When the transfer process begins an
e-mail is sent to the e-mail address connected to the
original domain registration. If you no longer check that
e-mail address, you will not get the instructions, and you
will not be able to process the steps required by you. As a
result, the transfer will fail.)
3) If the domain is less than 60 days old from original
registrar, it cannot be transferred.
In the end, the transfer option is there and it's up to you.

What happens to my renewal if I transfer an existing domain name to SBI!?
When you transfer a existing domain to SBI!, that
domain is automatically renewed for 1 year.
For example...
If someone had 9 months left on their domain before
transferring to SBI!, they would have an additional 12
months added to it once the transfer is completed.
This ensures that the domain will never expire before
SBI! usage is up.
